Frozen Pineapple Diced
Freshly harvested, mature pineapples are carefully transported to the factory for processing. Upon arrival, they are thoroughly washed to remove any dust or foreign particles. The crowns are removed, and the pineapples are manually peeled to ensure precision and quality. The peeled fruits are then placed on a conveyor belt for sorting, where they are graded based on firmness, color, and shape — with any damaged fruits discarded. Next, the sorted pineapples are sliced and conveyed to the dicer, which cuts them into uniform pieces according to the required size specifications. For instance, if 10x10 mm dices are desired, the dicer is precisely adjusted to achieve that dimension. Once diced, the pineapple pieces are passed through a blast freezer to lock in freshness, flavor, and nutrients. Finally, the frozen pineapple dices are stored in a cold storage facility maintained at -18°C until ready for packaging and distribution.
